They weren't using the standing 8 in either this or the first fight. The ref's only option was to stop it....

It's not the ref's only option. Most fights don't require a standing 8 count, but that doesn't mean they can't use it. It's the ref's discretion whether to give the count or not.

The ref stopped the fight way too early. The ref robbed us. The **** fatass where about to knock him out cold.

Arreola looked improved,better balance,more composed,bit faster,the opponent wasnt great but no way was arreola not winning by tko/ko in the first round after that right hand.

the kiss of death/kiss saying i beat you was a random silly thing that im sure arreola confused himself and is thinking "what the **** was that for".lol.

but hes honest,he has passion for the sport,he has power and heart.

i would prefer Haye v Arreola next to a povetkin or chageav,not as challenging for haye the other 2.

i think arreola could have given/still could give wlad problems.

It's not "whatever", man. Abell went down, the referee is supposed to separate them and start the count.

Referees are being way to cautious these days. More than once I've had friends/family who don't follow boxing see stuff like this and ask why the hell the ref ran in and waved the fight off. It can't be helping the sport.

There was no standing 8 count. The only way the ref could've separated them at that point was to stop the fight and he did.
