Thinking of putting a bet on Gradovich. Dib possibly overvalued for obvious reasons. "Mexican-Russian" has Garcia training him (only fighter to beat Dib was Garcia trained, too. Though, that was in '08). Dib not necessarily known for performing well against this type of aggressive, volume punching fighter. A lot of big money coming in late on Gradovich, to boot.

Talk me out of it...

gradovich. sounds russian. those guys can scrap. i'm tempted to check out his amateur background and such, but instead i'll just troll.

Have any of you guys seen the Mex-Russian fight?

if i have seen the kid i've forgotten about him. if he's on american, british, or german network boxing i've probably seen the guy.

i can't imagine him being any good if i've forgotten about him. that's kind of how i rate these guys

i know that a good or exciting fighter will leave an impression on me, while the guys with boring styles and no skills i almost certainly forget these days. there's too much going on in this sport at all times. i've learned to prioritize out of neccessity.


these chumps will get watched, but after that they're quickly forgotten.

The only reservation I would have is the judges as Dib is the "name" in this fight.

you're right certainly in that i have no idea what i'm talking about. my opinions are entirely meaningless, with nobody here or anywhere else respecting them. never done anything in boxing. never will.


i was being serious. and i've never once trolled. if i've seen the venerable gradovich i've forgotten about him. he's probably so good that i passed out. either that or he's one of the many great fighters that i thought were garbage and i discarded.


lets see what your little russian buddy looks like. i don't even know what weight he's at, and i don't care to find out until tonight. perhaps you can school me on the history of this soon to be hall of famer, and the finer points of boxing that will allow me to grasp his greatness.
