Why doesn't The Ring recongize the WBO?

I've always wondered this. I mean they recongized the IBF's reign in so why not the WBO?

(Please don't say "because they hate Joe Calzaghe!!" This has nothing to do with that)

no idea, larry holes established the WBO as a major title and Calzaghe held it forever they should recognize it.

Larry Holmes established the IBF as a major title, not the WBO.

I remember someone, maybe William Detloff, from The Ring who talked about Joe Calzaghe helping to give credibility to the WBO.

WBO is more credible than the WBA these days overall and has the "real" champion in more than one weight class

There are 4 "Big" organizations now and the WBO is included

They're all crooked, they're all flawed, and none of them are true world championships though, including The Ring title

If the Ring gives credibility to a boxing organization then it encourages other alphabet organizations to press for legitimacy and as a result muddles the boxing ranking up more..

Though I'm talking about for Lineage.

They don't recognize the WBO is part of unification so it screws up the whole Erdei being the lineal champion thing.

The WBO generally is a bogus title and it's creation only further devalued all the alphabet titles.

                Initially, yes...

But now in the age of "Super champions" and "champions emeritus" etc., the WBO seems to be less scandalous than at least two others...
