Morales will be remembered as a warrior who went through battles in the ring... people will get all moist just thinking about it and give him the nod.

I'm not saying he's the fight I respect most on the list; but who I believe will receive the most respect... at least the type of respect I'm talking about. Not necessarily dealing w/ skill, wins, or legacy... simply love/respect from fans.
    kinda what im talking about.

.....Very difficult question as some of these guys aren't done yet and it depends on how they end things. I do think that Lennox will get more respect over time as an ATG. If Mayweather and Cal go undefeated and get a couple more big wins then they could be at the top of the list. Something about going undefeated that just can't be topped.

Joe Calzaghe, Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather ruins his image with him making himself out to eb the bad guy during fights. He is actually a quite intelligent person when he isn't hanging out with 50 cent.

its a pretty good post this - personally i think it depends on what some of these fighters achieve - if joe calzaghe goes on to fight 2 more opponesnts at LHW adn defeats them and then defeats pavlik at 178 then surely he should get more respect than he is already afforded.

if pac man goes and makes a big impct at lightweight then the same goes for him.

personally i thik lennox lewis - he fought everyone he should have and no-one can say he ducked out of a fight and he beat them all as well.

Manny Pacquiao - MAYBE. Two wins over Morales and Barrera. If he ever goes up and fights DLH, then absolutely he will be the most respected on this list, even if he loses the fight as long as its competitive.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - NO. Mayweather is a joke now, his skills are respected but Mayweather the person is a laughing stock.

Oscar De La Hoya - NO. Lost almost every major fight he has ever been in.

Roy Jones Jr - MAYBE. Amazing skills, but didnt always fight the best. If he beats Calzaghe, this would be a stronger maybe

Joe Calzaghe - NO. lol, absolutely not even close.

Vladimir Klitchko - NO. pffff. He is the LEAST respected on the list. What a joke. Barely the best heavyweight in the worst heavyweight division EVER.

Mike Tyson - NO. Tyson was frequently an embarassment for boxing and despite his drawing power, he was bad for the sport.

Lennox Lewis - YES. I think. Always strived to fight and beat the best. Beat everyman he ever stepped into the ring with, most by KO. Great skills, and the best Heavyweight of his time.

Naseem Hamed - NO. dont even need to comment. Loud mouthed but without the skills to back it

But why the **** is Tye Fields not on this list??? C'mon man
I agree with everyone here... except for the Fields part of course. And the Tyson mystique will still be strong for the general public, though historians won't be swayed by the early sucess and aura
