Calzaghe beat Hopkins but he lost to Robin Reid. I would advice those people not to vote unless you have seen both fights...

But if your giving B-Hop that fight.......your wanting to give it to him.

He stuck to Calzaghe like chewing gum, fought the entire fight on the back foot and refused to engage despite landing the heavier shots. I can't see how he won that fight. Reid landed a **** load more right hands than Hopkins and with far more mustard on them.
Yep. A true SD, could have gone either way. Should of at least been a draw.

      Reid was quality those days.

Why start a legitimate thread & then reduce it to childish name-callin jus cuz u don't like ppl's opinions? Calzaghe won against an old boxer who was out of his depth fightin a much greater fighter. Calzaghe is the best boxer in the world with a perfect record. Americans thinks ya not a good fighter unless ya fight an American boxer in America, get the **** over yourselves!!!

Jeff Lacy & B.Hop got slaughtered
        DEAL WID IT!!!

No chance did Reid win that fight. He didn't complain at the decision and he was happily chatting away with Joe after the fight. If he really thought he won, he would have complained. He admitted he couldn't outbox him. Joe reduced him to a one punch wonder. Granted though, Reid was pretty dangerous back then.

Also, how many times do we have to mention Joe was ill and injured during that fight? Elbow injury and recovering from food poisoning. He did pretty damn good considering the circumstances, if you ask me. I had it at least 7-5 to Joe. Easily.

Yeah and the only reason Vinny Paz lost to Jones was because he drank to much cappuccino before the fight!

The Reid fight was closer, most of the rounds could've gone either way. Ultimately I scored it 115-112 for Calzaghe.
