I don't think Wladimir would take the safety first approach in this fight.

He'll be looking to destroy dude from round one.

It will make for an EXPLOSIVE match up.

The smart move for Haye would be to get a couple of HW fights in before jumping right at Wlad though.
Perhaps Klitschko is also thinking of this a smart move- take on Haye while he is still adjusting to HW and perhaps not fully comfortable/ experienced at the weight.

          Klitschko: "Haye is nutz"

          Klitschko: Haye is nuts!

          Friday, April 25 2008

World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko says undisputed cruiserweight champion David Haye ‘is nuts’ for wanting to fight him. The IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight titleholder thinks that the Briton first needs to prove himself as a genuine heavyweight contender. Speaking to Setanta Sports News, Klitschko said, "I met this guy yesterday. I’d never heard of him before but he was so loud that I could have heard his voice overseas. He’s a nice guy but he’s so excited about his career and moving up to the heavyweight division and winning all the titles. He’s definitely got a good punch and is a great boxer but he’s just so loud it’s unbelievable. The one thing that he does have already, though, is that he’s very self-confident. He has to have a couple of good fights at heavyweight and, after that, who knows? If he continues to do well then maybe we will fight each other. Maybe Great Britain is going to have the next undisputed heavyweight champion of the world – but only after I retire.”

U gotta respect Haye though! In his first fight at HW, he's gunning straight for the top man.

There will be a lot of anticipation for this one, especially if Haye has a couple of good heavyweight wins between now and then.

I'm leaning towards Haye. Klitschko was so tentative in his last fight and that was against Sultan who was about 2 heads shorter and who he should have chewed up in about three rounds. But I would prefer Haye to maybe fight someone else first, cos this is quite a risky endevour
