Roman Martinez' Last Stop Before Title Town

    what

just because this guy beat a washed up willie jorin. who sucks anyway. dosn't make him any difrent from all the other stuble bums. Roman gets an easy win and moves on. im ok with that but lets be honest. After that i would not put nim in with joan guzman right away. Guzman is an eleite p4p type guy roman isn't ready for that. let him fight a south african like a fana or malcom klassen. ther's plenty of good juior welterweights down there. give him five more fights against top twenty fighters in the division then give him his shot. he's moved slow with his career so far why rush now,

Guzman beats Rocky, by lopsided descion. And Guzman unfies the titles since Juan and Pacman moved up. He should get a minor belt before facing Guzman.

Rocky has some decent wins under his belt. He has a win over Francisco Lorenzo (who gave Juan Diaz hell when they fought) and a win over Daniel Jimenez. Jimenez can fight man, he beat Vicente Escobedo and i havent seen it but heard he dropped a controversial decision to Jesus Chavez recently. Rocky is a bad@ss and can handle himself in the ring.

with that being said, Joan Guzman still beats him easily. I think he deserves a shot though so why not. I would rather see Guzman-Martinez than Guzman-Arthur. Martinez will put the pressure on and force Guzman to fight, probably bringing out the best in Guzman.

I seen the first 3 rounds and had to leave. Jimenez fought very well from what i seen. I had to leave. My friend told me Chavez got the decision but he thought Jimenez deserved it.

I hope Escobedo and Jimenez do it again, i think Escobedo would beat him this time around... Jimenez has a good heart but not much boxing skills.

Jinmenez losing to Chavez was shocking, I was hoping he was better than that, but he lost it. Guzman would school Martienez, he has too much speed. After Jinmenez beat Escovedo I taught he was a sleeper.

fair enough, i have the fight downloaded but havent watched it in its entirety yet. I dont think much of Escobedo anymore. Im looking forward to see what Abner Mares can do.
