oh, so now it's okay right? you are a hyocrite man, but that's okay, we need more of you on here to expose. keep it up boy.

oscar calls out cotto now, but cotto called out oscar late last year, he wanted to fight him earlier this year, and that's when the whole millie doesn't want oscat to fight another puerto rican came up, remember that? and, oscar calling out cotto means what? floyd called out oscar when he was at 140 pounds, and when oscar was still actively fighting. now, it's okay that cotto accepts this fight to you with these standards? hypocrite you are.

hey horus, i found another hypocrite on boxingscene forums. what are the ****ing odds?

anway, i want cotto to fight oscar after oscar loses to mayweather, because no doubt his name will get enhanced and the mayweather/cotto fight will be that much closer, and floyd will shut up the naysayers, i guarantee you he'll beat cotto decisively.

If floyd decided to give arturrro gatti a rematch... well then yeah... but... it just seems like some double standards are truly being played here

He didnt whoop him, but in the eyes of MANY fans, he beat him decisevely. If Floyd was rematching him because he felt it could've gone either way, and he wanted to beat him even more decisevely, then cool, but even he acknowledged that he beat him. Oscar admitted that Floyd beat him. What more do u need to prove? Both fighters agreed on the outcome. Its obvious that this is just a paper chase bout.

and how many rematches have occured in the sport where there was an obvious winner? I want Floyd to fight cotto... but im getting tired of everything Floyd does being shunned for no reason... but then someone else does the same exact thing, and its completely fine... and someone twists there rationalization into a way that works for them

the guy wants to wave a flag at a race, and people hang him for it... wtf....

Show me a quote where Cotto "called Oscar out" The challenge was presented to him, and he obliged. The way he accepts ANY challenge that is thrown his way. If Floyd was to call Cotto out, Cotto would accept aswell. If u read my last post, i stated that im not crazy about Cotto fighting Oscar, due to the fact that Oscar isnt even considered a serious boxer anymore, but if this is what it takes to get Floyd in the ring, then im all for it.

With all due respect because you're a good poster, its hard to take you serious when the topic is about Floyd. You've flip floped on this whole Oscar rematch issue. First u BASHED and SLAMMED Floyd for taking it, and now your defending it. Stick to your guns man.

There SINCERELY is double standards around here
Because Floyd already clearly beat him, and because it's based on a scenerio where Oscar beats Floyd.

There's no double standard at all. A double standard would be Cotto rematching Quintana instead of fighting Margarito and everyone being ok with it.

              That's a double standard.

I have a problem when floyd gets bashed for something... but then... cotto does it... and its no problem... thats what i have a problem with..

It was Oscars choice to rematch Floyd... Oscar is the one that made the choice for the rematch... and Floyd obliged, just like you said about Cotto...

Im not defending the fight... im defending the fact that its not ok for floyd to do something, but ok for cotto to do the same exact thing...

the whole.. "well he called him out, so its ok" excuse is bull**** in my opinion.

Do I have a problem with cotto fighting oscar? Not at all... just dont bash floyd for doing it, then defend cotto for doing it... that truly is hypocritical

There SINCERELY is double standards around here
Because Floyd already beat him and their 1st fight didn't have enough action for there to be a 2nd fight. It's simply & only about money.

A fight with Cotto would be a totally different fight with a lot of action (which people wanna see). Also it's a huge opportunity for Cotto to get on the proverbial "Mainstream Map" and get his first big payday. Floyd got his chance, it's Cotto's turn now. He deserves it.

Cotto KOed Quintana.... Floyd won a Split Decision over Oscar

It would be MORE like if Floyd rematched Arturro Gatti

If i recall correctly, there was a interview with Floyd, Lampley, Merchant, and Oscar tuned in on live Tv. Floyd was asked what he would like to do next, and his answer was "lets do it again". If i was able to access youtube here from work, i would've posted the vid, but i cant. So lets not make is seem as if rematching Oscar wasnt in Floyd's best interests.
