Oh yeah, it would also be nice to see him fight Pavlik to prove to everyone that power diminishes when a fighter moves up. I have people constantly battling me that Pavlik would keep his power when he moves up, and would be able to punch holes in people in the LHW division.
I kinda see him beating Roy in a decision. I want Kelly to fight him. He has just as good a workrate with good pop. And Kelly is a machine he won't get discouraged. He is very physical and will be right there for Cal. People say Kelly would be too easy but, I'm not buying it. This guy is getting better every fight and has the heart of a champion. Not to mention his strong and authoratative jab.
Pavlik wins! Call me crazy but I don't think Joe has enough to hurt Pavlik or keep Kelly off of him. Too much pressure and power for Joe. But I chose Jones, it's a fight that should of already happened and should happen now.

Pavlik may well keep his power if he moves up. Or, at least, hang on to enough of it avoid a serious detriment to his game. It's not like he's knocking middleweights cold with one punch as it is - accumulation will still be effective at higher weight classes. He may just need a little more of it.
I'm curious to see who yall want to see Calzaghe in with next. I personally would like to see him in with Roy Jones Jr. Unlike a lot of posters here, I havent counted Roy out yet. Even though he may have lost some of his athletic attributes and capabilities, I feel the wisdom he has gained from his experience can help him overcome the toughest challenge out there.
I can't say that i dont agree...because i do agree.
I would like to see calzaghe fight both before retirement but if i could only pick one (and its not easy) i'd have to lean towards pavlik.
roy jones jr is obviously a future hall of famer (no doubt in my mind) and was the p4p KING of the 90's but i think roy is fading and kelly pavlik provides the tougher challenge overall (granite chin and packs a VERY tough punch)...
Roy is the superior boxer (over pavlik); and is much more seasoned.
A PRIME roy jones (or even one just 3-4 years ago) would be a dream matchup and pavlik would be lucky to get votes to send him into double digits in this poll...
