    Linares on DLH-Forbes card

A few days ago I said that there would be no Jorge Linares fight on the May 3 card. Turns out he will be fighting an unbeaten Australian named Billy Dib (who?). However, this fight will not be shown on HBO. The best we can hope for is highlights.

Billy Dib isn't ready, he's an Australian fighter Steve Kim called him Naseem Hamed-lite. He's also the fighter than Shane Mosley has high hopes for, he's trained by Jack Mosley. Linares beats him.

Can't we watch it online, like we did for the undercard of B-hop vs Calz?

he fought on the non TV portion of the Casa Kats fight and stunk out the joint majorly. He is all flash no substance and even then he doesn't have the physical tools to make you remind him of anyone good

        he sucks flat out

I didn't even know about that card being online, so it certainly is worth checking out. If you get any info please pass it on.

are they going to televise another undercard instead of Linares? we need to write a formal complaint.

HBO would likely tell you that the cost of those two main events ****** up the entire budget. Oscar may try and con people into believing he is "giving back to the fans", but he sure as hell is getting well paid for it.

yea HBO paid 5 million for the DLH main event, and Forbes is getting paid scraps. So DLH is making a few mil for this junk.

But How much would a fighter like Linares demand? Practically nothing, he probably just wants the exposure. DLH and co. were probably very unreasonable in negotiations
