You can't make a fair assessment of Calzaghe based on a fight with the dirtiest fighter on the planet. Calzaghe's hands are shot to pieces, hence the lack of power. This is common knowledge. The fact that he is still able to adapt and WIN says a lot about Joe.

Hopkins vs Calzaghe = worst Calzaghe performance. It would be better to forget this fight and gauge him on his previous 44 fights, some which were absolute master classes.

I still think you are nuts though for thinking Floyd can move up there in weight. He needs to concentrate on the Cotto's of the world, who he matches well size wise against. With all his talent, he still has limitations. Some guys are just too big and would maul him.
