    Wednesday Night Fights tonight

Theres a good one on tonight on ESPN 2, starting at 9. That bastard that fought Hatton and was able to hurt him to the body, Juan Urango, is fighting Carlos Vilches in the main event. Urango is pretty plodding and one dimensional, but he is a pretty strong guy and hits fairly hard...and hes young, so maybe he has potential.

but more important, Mean Joe Greene is fighting maybe his toughest opponent yet, Joshua Okine, who has faced decent competition and won the British Commonwealth title, which is not amazing, but notable.

interestingly enough, Wilfred Scypion Jr. is fighting on the undercard. If anyone recongnised the name, Hagler knocked out his dad during a time when Hagler was semi invincible at Middleweight. dont think it will be televised, but I thought that was interesting.

no idea, but theres a good chance he is. last FNFs they made him out to be a celebrity(rightfully so) in Teddy's prefight gameplan, so maybe their favoring him.

thats the real reason I give a damn about Wednesday Night Fights

seriously, I wish they had a thing on boxrec that would help you see who would be reffing the match

Hey BlackIrish, lets make a 20,000 point bet on Wlad vs. Thompson.

I know Tony is one of you favorite fighters.

I've never been impressed with Joe Green.

Is it just me, or are alot of current New York prospects a little overrated? Now you got Quillin and Green. A few years ago it was Edgar Santana...

Urango is fun to watch, and I want to see if Greene is getting better too. Its kind of surprising Greene hasnt really faced any real good competition, but then again hes only 22.

what gave it away, him being in my avatar and sig? haha

yea sure what the hell, Ill go for it. I dont think Thompson really has a chance, hes not anything special, but I dont use these points for anything anyways. I take it that me 'paying' you if I lose the bet is just me using the donate function, right?

Hell ya, every time i go on boxrec i want to click on the refs and see all of the fights they have reffed and the ones they are doing in the future. I cant imagine it would be that hard for them to do.
