Danny Romero was a baddass! I just think the Tapia then the Bungu fight were hard loses that he couldn't over come easily. I felt he got robbed against Bungu. And the Tapia fight, Johnny was just great in that fight though i was pissed he didnt' engage as much as before but then that would have been to Romeros strenghs.

I also belive Romero never really found his style. He always used to do either too much boxing or too much brawling when sometimes he had to do the opposite. Also him not sparring anymore for fights i think also could have effected him in a bad way.

But he was a great fighter watching come up the ranking, the guy had a broken eye socket and still keep fighting and didn't want the fight to end. Warriror!

Yeah. I think Zab peaked before the Tszyu fight.

It doesn't mean he was a world beater, just that I think he peaked young.

Same with Tua. He peaked around Ibeabuchi.
After that, he started getting too reliant on power.

I think Zab has been a better fighter even though he's lost. He's stepped up his game in losing. Its when he fights the lower level fighters that Judah looks like crap.

Well, that is a sure sign that he lost his mental edge, isn't it?

Before Tszyu, he had no problems with ****ty opposition.
                After however...

Im calling bull****. Judah always! had problems with ****ty oppositions. Hecotr Quieroz (way past his prime)and Weis (his fame came from a tough fight with A.Diaz) to name a few. Though i say ****ty but i mean Judah shouldn't have struggled with them.

Judah and Tua two fighter who weren't what we thought they were. Though credit to Judah for always stepping it up in a lose, besides the Tszyu fight.
I'm saying Taylor. Mosley hasn't really been up and down because he's never lost to a TKO in any way and his losses were close especially his latest fight with Cotto. IMO Mosley is the only boxer right now that is fighting excellent past his prime

What I think ruined Romero was him keeping his father as a trainer. His father wouldn't let him spar, and Romero never got any better. He was a hell of a good flyweight when he was able to make that weight though. I remember that loss to Willy Salazar you're talking about. It was on ESPN and a shocking upset at the time.
