Chavez Jr vs Alfonso Gomez...Why Not?

I'd still like to see this fight. Apparently HBO wanted this fight for Boxing After Dark in March but Arum decided to feed Cotto Gomez and Chavez another bum.
Who'd take this fight?

I expect this fight to happen later this year after Gomez gets a soft tuneup to rebuild his confidence and his rep.

i dont think it'd be easy at all. Gomez would be clearly the best opponent for Chavez Jr. to date

Exactly. It's all relative. You can't compare Chavez Jr to Miguel Cotto.

This would be a perfect fight for Chavez jr. to shed his skin.

This fight sounds appropriate for both fighters. I would be interested in seeing it.
