Former pound for pound king Roy Jones Jr had this to say in response to IBO/IBF light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver. "First of all I thought he shut the door on me last time. Why would I take a $2M fight when I could take a $20M fight? HBO already made it clear what they want. They want the Calzaghe fight and Tarver needs to stand in line and wait his turn."
"It ain't my fault HBO's not interested in him, but I'm out to start what I finished and he should be doing the same. He got that fight with Chad Dawson staring him in the face, he said he'd knock him out in four, let him do that. Don't try to back out of that fight now Tarver and try to use me to get out of that.
"Tarver just needs to finish his business, I'm going to take care of mine and if he's still around then we'll meet."
