I just thought about this the other day. He is Mayorga's promoter and when his fighters are having a fight he is in the middle of the pres s conferences with flags and he hypes up the fights. I didnt have internet at that time so i did not watch the pressers or anything like that. So my question is did Don King also Promote that fight with Golden Boy? To me it seemed Don King was in the background kinda hidden, also if he did not really hype of the fight I am sure he knew Mayorga was meant to lose

If they worked together here whats keeping them from working together in the future?

That's true. And to answer the original posters question, I think the main reason they havent done more work together is that King has a big lock on the heavyweights while Oscar has none. Most of the lower classes King has dont really translate into big matchups with the fighters Oscar has.
