Someone should have a valid claim to their ethnicity, and then he must show allegiance. For example, Calzaghe has valid claims as to he can be considered Welsh, English and Italian. However, as far as I know, he considers himself Welsh, therefore, he must be counted as Welsh.

His mother's Welsh that means she's NOT english. His ancestry is Welsh and Italian, ZERO percent english. He's grown up in Wales all his life so he's Welsh, as he says himself, ie Welsh anthem before the Hopkins fight.
Alex Arthur is Scottish, again calling him english, like Calzaghe, is pure ignorance.
Ignorance works both ways, some limeys from another forum were calling Bernard Hopkins Canadian fighter from North America.

where u are Born is your nationality ,no exceptions IMO

Where u are born should be a sacred place that has a special place in your heart cause that is where u first drew breath into the world & that IMO should stand alone as the place where u are come from

where u are brought up or where happen to live is irrelevant as is what nationality your parents are

not really lets say ur parents are italian and they go to a trip to japan and have a baby there then return to their country
u dont wanna be considered japanese after all your blood is italian and u want to represent italy
u were born in japan but it doesnt change the fact that u look italian u speak italian and your blood is italian
