I'm surprised it hasn't been set up. Rumors are that Campbell took ROIDS but nobody knows for sure. I would not be surprised given the fact that it could have been his last shot, and the fact that King/Diaz beef breakup + Mexico venue.

Problems with the Location, Promoter and Nate Campbell

Juan Diaz is a real good boxer with unlimited potential.

Problems with his fight against Nate Campbell:

1.) LOCATION OF FIGHT, Mexico. Money will do miracles there and anything can happen if the price is right. The promoter Don King has all the money to set an under the rug deal.

2.) PROMOTER, Don King had some issues Juan Diaz's trainer and the word on the street is that he was trying to get Juan Diaz a new trainer, but JD wasnt having that and thats probably where the friction started. 1 week before the fight King was not talking to JD team. Why?

3.) Nate Campbell, has been boxing for about 10 years professionally if Im not mistaken and never won any world title belt in his life. 10 years later he wins 3 BELTS OVER NIGHT. Some say he had enough energy to go more rounds after the 12th round. How? He's 36!!!!!!! Never really won anything in the past. Then all of a sudden overnight he wins the WBA, WBC and the IBF belts in one night.

IT TOOK JUAN DIAZ 2-3 years to fight 3 different fighters, GOOD FIGHTERS.
To win those belts.

4.) NO DRUG TESTING BEFORE or AFTER the FIGHT. For a Title Match. 3 Belts. WBA, WBC and the IBF.

5.) The night of the fight was the last day of Juan Diaz's Contract with DON KING. What a coincidence huh????????????

I don't think Don King wants to have anything to do with Diaz anymore unless he has no other choice, but I think they should have a rematch sometime down the road, especially if Diaz beats Casamayor.

I'd love this rematch i hope it happens in the future. Campbell says there are excuses because his promoter is Don King. I dont think he understand the business of promoting. Dlh and DK just dont do Business
