DiBella Confident Trinidad-Taylor Can Be Made

Primera Hora reports that Felix "Tito" Trinidad may come to a decision regarding a possible fight with Jermain Taylor by the end of the week. Trinidad's father, Felix Sr, told the paper that Nicolas Medina [their attorney] would send over their terms to promoter Don King, and hopefully the two sides can come to an agreement for the fight. King met with Felix Sr. several weeks ago in Puerto Rico to discuss a possible fight with Taylor at a catch-weight between 168 and 175. [details]

Why would Trinidad want Taylor? Because he beat Hopkins?

This fight will be entertaining only if Taylor decides to stand in there and trade if not it'll be a boxing clinic by Taylor.

Either way I don't see Tito beating JT.

The only way this fight could be made interesting is if it were somehow brought down below 160 lbs.

tito trinidad vs. jermain taylor will be billed: "the battle of the has-beens".

of course, the younger taylor will prevail.

Could be a good one but it's pointless. Felix don't have another title run in him and Taylor will gain nothing career wise, even though he could make some coin and snap his losing streak.

I would like to see this fight but I believe it should be on something like a Calzaghe/Roy Jones Jr. undercard or something, boxing HAS to start getting at least two good fights on there cards, especially if they are gonna keep these semi to fully washed up boxers fighting!!!!

                    Or something like:

Antonio Tarver/Roy Jones Jr. (winner gets Calzaghe like Tarver suggest)
                    Felix Trinidad/Jermain Taylor

Boxing needs to make a couple cards a year that are above average, that's the ONLY thing the UFC has on boxing!!!!
