Amin Asikainen Named To Meet Sylvester

German jr. lightweight Vitaly Tajbert have accepted a position as mandatory challenger for EBU title-holder Sergey Gulyakevich. Tajbert will still go through with the defense of the EU title against Portugese Joao Bento on May 10 in Halle/Saale. On this bill local fighter Norman Schuster face Georgian Koba Karkashadze for the vacant WBO I/C welterweight title. Hightlight of the undercard is middleweight prospect Gennadyi Golovkin. [details]

This is good for Finnish boxing although I see Asikainen getting blasted out of there once again, Sylvester seems improved.

EDIT: Nevermind I thought it would actually happen.

Asikainen vs Sylvester will be another great fight. Last time Asikainen was ****ed by the referee. Wasn't there talk for Sturm vs Sylvester?

Watch out for Vitali Tajbert, he is a good prospect and his fights are entertaining.

        Asikainen is a great guy.

But he didn't look good against an ancient Yori Boy Campas.
I actually saw that fight live at ringside in Finland.
