Hopkins paid homage to Mayweather

Did anyone realize that Hopkins wore almost identical trunks (same color and style) to the ones Mayweather wore against Hatton?

I thought that was a subtle way of Hopkins aligning himself with Mayweather in hopes that the outcome would have been the same.

Oh well, he fought a solid fight and looked to do enough to at least keep his title.

I saw the shorts and thought "Mayweather" too.

I was think I hope what happened to hatton doesn't happen to calzaghe (a ko/tko) and I crapped my pant further in round 1 where calzaghe went down and for the next 2/3 rounds were calzaghe wouldn't throw a punch fortunatly in the end calzaghe won.

Sometimes boxing can be so predictable (like the nba playoffs) that you're shocked when somethng like that happens.
