The best two boxers on the planet right now, based on quality of opposition and results are Pacquaio and Calzaghe, with Pacquaio having the slight edge.

The best boxer on the planet in terms of skills is Floyd Mayweather, and it will stay that way until he gets old or retires. I rate Floyd 3 in terms of the opposition he's faced, I think Hatton and De La Hoya were good wins, but he needs to step it up again now.

Floyd has a better resume than Calzaghe and arguably Pacman as well, LMAO this **** is hilarious to me.

You didn't understand what I said. I completely agree that Floyd has a better resume than either, in fact I think he has one of the best.

His recent opponents, say in the last two years, have not been as good as these two, Floyd is boxing at welter, and has not been fighting the welter challengers recently. Pacquaio and Calzaghe have taken on and beaten the best in their divisions.

Read the post more carefully next time, and don't let your admiration for Floyd (which I share) cloud your ability to make objective assessments of what is really happening in boxing.
