The point is that in history PR is the third as far as world champs in history in the whole world. And is only a tiny island. Mexico only have l0 to 15 more champs, i dont remember the exact number. But that number of Mexico is as a whole. If you compare in quantity of champs of PR vs of Mexico city we have a lot more. If mexico as a whole only have 10 or 15 more champs in history and is the 2nd country that more champs has produce in boxing and PR has like 10 or 15 less and is the 3rd country with more champs to mexico city have more champs of PR they have to be from mecixo city more than 70 percent of the total mexicans champs and i dont think so. We can make a case from mexico city as far of quality but as far of quantity.... no case. This is kind of a dumb argument to make. I know puerto rico is a small nation with great fighters but that argument is weak. In that case why not compare mexico city to puerto rico, they are equal in geographical area(if not p.r. bigger). Mexico city fighters: Barrera,Olivares,Zarate,Chiquita Gonzalez,Finito Lopez,Lupe Pintor,Sal Sanchez,JMM,Vicente Saldivar, these are just off the top of my head. These fighters can compete with the best puerto rico has to offer and they're only from mexico city. See how your argument doesn't make sense.Comment

This post is 100% correct, people need to stop bringing up the whole "mexico is bigger" **** cause most of the people there dont give a **** about boxing...and still produce champions...This is kind of a dumb argument to make. I know puerto rico is a small nation with great fighters but that argument is weak. In that case why not compare mexico city to puerto rico, they are equal in geographical area(if not p.r. bigger).
