Who do you think would win and how? And what if that happened and Hopkins won and regained the top spot?

Hell Fire, I personally think Roy has a fair chance against Joe. I also think he'd win another match with Hopkins.

Roy would have to watch his stamina down the stretch against Joe and keep his chin protected from right hands from Hopkins, but both fights are winable.

      Jones Is Getting Old

Its just my opinion but Jones Jr is getting old. The only reason he wants to fight Calzaghe now is that he's trying to reclaim stardom like he wants had. RJj is foolish because Hopkins finally baited Calzaghe into coming into the US to fight but NO RJj easily gives Calzaghe leverage to continue fighting overseas once again. Rjj never in his career had any type of defense, he relied purely on athletic ability (THE BEST I'VE SEEN). Being that RJj is 38 or 39 years old he most definitely doesn't have the athleticism he wants had. RJj still to this day hasn't learned defense and on top of it all he's going to fight Calzaghe in Wales where it is cold. The refs in that country are known for stopping fights extremely early. WHAT THE HELL WAS RJJ THINKING GIVING THAT SOFTY CALZAGHE ALL THE ADVANTAGES. This was the reason why Calzaghe was able to climb his way to the top of the so called pound 4 pound rankings. Roy's punch output is diminishing as well, he (ROY) allows fighters to punch him to the body while he covers up. This is to Calzaghe's advantage, Roy also doesn't have the energy he once had. So with all these barriers I think Calzaghe wins unanimously. Calzaghe again benefits from another older fighter. THIS IS WHAT SEPARATES AMERICAN CHAMPIONS FROM SO CALLED BRITISH CHAMPIONS. If the American & British public want to glorify Calzaghe as if he even remotely belongs in the same bracket as these fighters (B.HOPKINS, ROY JONES JR, FELIX TRINIDAD, OSCAR DE LA HOYA, EVANDER HOLYFIELD, JAMES TONEY, AND SO ON) then boxing truly has went down hill.
