Am I the only one who thought Calzaghe-Hopkins wasnt.....

Am I the only one who thought Calzaghe-Hopkins wasnt as dull as everyone say? I mean yes there werent any spot of hig entertainment but if you viewed it like I did, closely analyzing there moves I thought more people should of appreciated it, for me it was a pretty decent fight considering both are future hall of famers and 2 of the biggest names in this era of boxing. Anyone else agree with me?

i got frustrated alone on forcing myself to watch this ****. im a hardcore fan, and id watch any fight with names like that, no matter how boring. but bernards hit and clinch tactics almost dozed me off. he's up there with Ruiz with all the clinching. it got somewhat good but only after joe stopped giving him respect and started attacking. other than that, a typical hopkins fight.

I thought it was a pretty good fight. Better than your typical B-Hop fight mainly because Joe made Hopkins fight a bit more than usual.

This would be the worst of the year if it wasn't for Klitschko-Ibragimov. The only reason this was entertaining at all was the knockdown in round 1.

That was what made me hate it. When Joe turned it on, it looked amateurish. He was just swinging his arms. B-Hop fought to his best ability; Calz fought at his C level but still won.

I still enjoy spectacles. Important fights are still more entertaining because they mean something. So yeah I was into it. HBO did a good job making it look and feel like a PPV too.

Sloppy as hell though, I dont argue that at all.
