Since you mentioned it, I don't think Toney is that well off financially.

Some dudes just like boxing. I can't deny letting a man do what he loves. He knows damn well what's a bad for him and good for him so who are we to say he should retire?

He's always been a great fighter and even fat, gives the best in the division a true test.

      VIVA JT.

Would still like to see that Danny Williams fight come off.

"Azuquita" and "Boxing Prospect", thanks for posting those interviews! I always love it when JT gives an interview....he is one funny dude without even trying to be funny! I think of all the active fighters, "Lights Out" gives the best interview.
Remember when somebody asked him about his father, who left when he was a little kid? Toney said "Nah...I ain't seen him, but when I do, I'm going to kill his punk a$$! Next question!" And that was his DAD!
Love him or hate him, you gotta respect him.. He definitely backs it up in the ring.

PS-I hope he comes back for one more serious run at a title. If he sets his mind to getting in fighting shape, he's got a good chance to get another shot. But the clocks ticking...

Glad you enjoyed the videos Terry. i love watching toney as well, he's one of my favourite fighters. the man's a character and his fights are never boring. he's definetly a hall of famer, and while he doesnt have a lot left he still got enough to beat a few good fighters around. he never ran from nobody and always took on all comers. as fat as he looked in the first Peter fight, he beat him and was robbed of the decision. just goes to show that no matter what shape he's in lights out always delivers. just imagine what he would have done to peter had he come in at proper weight...

i agree wladimir would win this. take in account the lay off, and when toney is not training it's safe to say he aint looking out after his cardio. if he got himself in shape he could still bring good things to the table but challenging wald is a tall order. i dont think he'll knock him out though, toney's chin is iron, and his defence even at heavyweight is still effective.

Well he doesnt have to KO him out cold, Im thinking that Wladimir would just beat him down to the point where somebody stops it..
