I think its sad nowadays when character plays alot in a fighters career, I agree Haye would be more marketable in terms of bring more casual fans to the sport but i would rather they market him base on his ring accomplishments. Wlad his defintely "dull" if people want to put it that way but he gets the job done in the ring and thats what matters the most.
Where r all the klitchko fans???

I agree accomplishments are much more important than character but its good for a sport to have some intresting people in it.I think its sad nowadays when character plays alot in a fighters career, I agree Haye would be more marketable in terms of bring more casual fans to the sport but i would rather they market him base on his ring accomplishments. "getting the job done" isn't what most boxing fans want to see. Where's the entertainment?I think its sad nowadays when character plays alot in a fighters career, I agree Haye would be more marketable in terms of bring more casual fans to the sport but i would rather they market him base on his ring accomplishments. Oh defintely agree..especially at HW where we need some much needed excitement not just in the Ring but outside of it as well, I have NO doubt that Haye can provide all of the above with some Real good hardwork from him.Comment

i think nationality has a little bit something to do with it but not everything.Ok so his homeland is best known for nuclear fallout, but surely every1 can admit he is the best heavyweight in the world; what should be the most glamorous division in the world! The guy has a PHD, and has a lot of stuff worth listening too, by comparison to the typical mayweather " i have more money than u nah nah nah nah nah nah" **** we ger fed by most boxers.
so why does no1 care!!!!! is it as simple as not american, not interested?
klitchko is a much better fighter than hopkins (although equally guilty of producing matches to put insomnia patients to sleep) and still has his **** ******ity intact!!

wlad i think is the best heavyweight right now and he's currently #10 on my p4p list. though i have to admit that he's only there because i feel every p4p list should include at least 1 heavyweight.
as far as better fighter than hopkins it's hard to compare guys from 2 different weight classes. i agree with you i'd rather watch wlad than hop just because though i appreciate hop's skills and career i just plain think most of his fights are boring.
the heavyweight division has been down for a while now but it'll pick up again. remember how the early 80's heavyweight division was kinda dead 'til mike arrived?Comment
