    Hopkins should become a commentator

If he really retires, he knows his stuff and gives great interviews. I would actually enjoy listening to his views rather than lennox "state the obvious" lewis.

People who can speak fluent English should get those jobs. Hopkins doesn't qualify.

Each 'sentence' he utters is poorly constructed and borderline incoherent.

Hopkins would be an excellent commentator, as long as they wouldn't make the same mistake they made with Jones and use him before he permanently retires. Also his association with Golden Boy would cause a conflict of interests.

After Tarver beats Hopkins in a rematch (laugh now haters), I'd love to see Tarver in there as a commentator, dude is hilarious

Come on, they let Roy Jones Jr. and George Foreman do it... For a boxer, Hopkins speaks rather well I think. Not as well as Joe Calzaghe of course... I think he would make a really good commentator. I liked RJJ a lot as a commentator. Especially when he owned Larry Merchant.
