I mean it really wasn't fair on Bernard.

Stick his head in
Con the ref into giving him a couple of minutes for a fake low blow

And he's old. And Joe is 25 and in the prime of his life.

He could easily have finished Calzaghe off in the 1st round if he wanted to, but he just wanted to toy with him.

Hopkins would have beat him worse if they fought a few years ago. Hopkins was well up for it and he did NOT ***** out.

Hopkins was quite competitive but after the mid rounds his legs weren`t there and looked like he was just looking for any chance to hold.


This was an ugly fight, Calzaghe deservedly won, i think 1 or 2 rounds though would have been fair.

I hope i never have to watch hopkins fight again

Hopkins is a legend.

Joe was such a nice guy. When he tried to bum Hopkins he was only doing it because he heard Bernard talking about prison so he decided he'd make him feel at home.

But nice guys don't win fights, or white guys as Hopkins would attest. Hopkins took him to school and give him extra homework, he made Calzaghe look like an amatuer.
