well, its still to early to tell whether manny really screwed. yes, the news about the commercials, the late nights, the billiard games etc... still, you couldnt really put the blame on him if he wanted to do these...the man has a life and it is to his choosing whether he wants to do these things...for all we care he can very well rest after the morales fight..anyways thats a cool P100 million in his pocket enough to last a lifetime if he goes by moderate living. also, i think it is good that he waited for big fighters to come, since i believe pac is still beatable and we wouldnt want so-so guys to register an upset. a morales/barrera/marquez loss wouldnt take much out of the marketability he has garnered. pac deserves bigger names to fight, and he maybe just be wanting to have 3-4 more big fights before he retires...by that time he'll have a tons of dough in his bank account...it could also be a blessing in disguise since we can now hear that pac has been trainin harder than ever before..lets just wait and see.

Never in my imagination would my favorite pound for pound best would rot in the garbage.

November 2003, when PACMAN was crowned as one of the best fighters in the world. The best in the featherweight and one of the bests pound for pound, after he boxed MAB into submission.

But after that fight, PACMAN was never the PACMAN whom his loyal fans used to know. He was an outright celebrity. He became an actor, commercial model and a full time billiard player.

He was still a legitimate champion at that time holding the IBF superbantamweight class. But his handlers made a big mistake when they decided to give out the belt and completely ignored his mandatory defense claiming that PACMAN needed a rest for that great victory and moreover, he will not go down and risk his status for an unworthy fighter.

After five months of flirting and a month of training, PACMAN was back in the ring. He toyed and underestimated the WBA/IBF Champ resulting to a draw that killed the great plans ahead of the southpaw.

For the first few months after the fight with JMM, PACMAN still enjoyed the glitters of a star and several opponents were lined to him after JMM announced that he will have to defend his belt from a mandatory challenger.

Unfortunately, after six months of matching and press releases, there is still no clear opponent for our great PACMAN. He was offered to fight Larios in an undercard but angrily refused so claiming that it is an insult for an injury being inflicted by MAB and EM.

He played billiards for sometime to shrug off the boredom and restlessness but was immediately knockout of the tournament.

Now, PACMAN is in the verge of losing his coolness and patience. He is indeed in trouble. He now realizes that boxing cannot be taken for granted. Boxing's limelight is not a one punch knockout but a successive combination to make sure that you stay on the fight.

Whether my great PACMAN still stings or not, he has already paid his dues.
