roy jones jr fans are delusional.

rjj doesnt have ko power anymore, he hasnt knocked anyone out since glen kelly and that was 6 years ago. to beat calzaghe you have to start early, he wasted the first 3 rounds against trinidad before getting started. rjj defense is still good, but he always fought in bursts and even if he dont get hurt there gonna give the rounds to calzaghe.

It's a ****** fight to make anyways, its better to go out with a win against an undefeated fighter like Pavlik/Dawson. I'd say so more Pavlik, even though Dawson is a light heavy but I can't complain about either if he takes there 0 from them and retires. Dawsons camp has something shady connections with those judges from the Glen Johnson fight so unless Calzaghe thinks he can ko Dawson I doubt he can beat him by beating him on points. I don't think anyone can beat chad dawson on points, I really think something shady is up with that ****.

it would be an interesting fight to see. roy still has the power but if he's consistent enough. i dont know how he would deal with joe and all the pressure. the guys that were able to beat him put pressure on, and that's exactly what joe's got in mind. if roy comes prepared it would be entertaining fight, much better than the fight with bernard, one punch and clinch, hopkins.

Disputed decisions have been a part of boxing since time began , nothing shady just the way boxing is scored by 3 judges with 3 different opinions all looking at the same thing from 3 different perspectives , bound to happen in close fights and always will .

i think roy will beat calzaghe even at this stage in his career.. im not a ass licker like many of these ppl on the forums are.. but i think roy will score a kd at least once..

what i dont like about bhop is that he does just enough to get by.. same with roy.. and if that roy comes then JC will win. but if roy steps it up a bit then its a wrap.. it all depends on what roy will sho up.. and i think if the active roy shows up then hell win.

So Dawson won one single decision that you didn't agree with, and now there is shady pattern about it? For that theory to be valid you need to have more than one example. Any other supposedly "shady decisions" that Dawson won?

Roy's way past his best but he's done well enough since comin back from the losses that he deserves a chance at 1 more big fight for a title.

the old roy jones would have stopped hanshaw easily. hes easily stronger than calzaghe but trust me all calzaghe has to do to get a decision is throw them weak combos. at this point i think only kelly pavlik can take him out the same way he did jermain taylor,
