Mostly just cuz there wasn't a heavyweight champ the world could identify and MMA blowin up, people were hatin on boxing last year. But 2007 ended up bein a great year for the sport. This year's off to a hell of a start and there's some good **** still to come. I think it could end up bein better than last year. Think 2008 will surpass '07?

There is still no heavyweight champion and MMA is still huge, not sure what your point is there. But 08' is defintely going strong and we have had some great and controversial fights. We had the first cruiserweight champion to ever defend their title this year when Haye beat Maccarinelli, the greatest trilogy with elite fighters in Vazquez/Marquez since Ali/Frazier. The best lightheavyweight fight between two elite lighheavyweights in 15 years between Dawson/Johnson and the P4P is beating each other up. All this without Mayweather and De La Hoya fighting anyone yet.Comment
