I say no, i really like Joe as a fighter and a person but i just cant think he's had it too easy at super middle.
That said i think it was the right time to move up and would also like to see him go down to middleweight now.

there is no way he can make 160. he would have stay undefeated at 160. There was Hopkins and then thats it.
other notable fighters in that era Joppy, Sturm, ODLH (momentarily), Trinidad (kinda), Glen Johnson, and Howard Eastman.
I personally believe that Calzaghe would wipe the floor with those fighters bar Hopkins in which i think he might pull out a razor thin decision either way or a draw.

I think Roy Jones would've beaten him at lightheavy, but he would've been competitive. Middleweight? Joe would never have made middleweight so it's a non-starter.

Both Roy Jones and Hopkins especially dominated weak divisions also, they had no real rivals at 175 and 160. Lets aim a bit of stick their way, eh?
