In 45 fights he has only managed to beat like 3-4 worhty opponents..
he doesn't get recognition for a reason..
LMAO.
I won't even bother going into this **** again.
Calzaghe is a legendary boxer, at 36 he moves up to light-heavyweight to challange the No1, not only that but in his country, at an altitude of over 2000m above sea level where the atmosphere is totally different, and against an opponent that had strengths in all of his weaknesses.
He also still managed to win confortably imo, why do you want a fighter to win that RAN all night and would hold every ****ing two seconds, Hopkins is a ****ing coward, calzaghe had to make the fight happen, Hopkins was a ***** last night, a disgraceful performance.

Though I don't like Hopkins and happy he lost, I do know that he is 43. 43 is pre-historic in boxing years.
Eubank, Lacey, Kessler and Hopkins in 40 something fights isn't impressive to me at all sorry..

Do you really need to be such a jealous hater? Be a man for once, and give Joe credit!
Joe was the undisputed super middleweight champion - he defeated everybody in that weight class who would fight him: Jeff Lacy, Chris Eubank, Mikkel Kessler, Bryan Mitchell, etc.
Now he just defeated the linear champ at light heavyweight - he's Ring Champion in two weight divisions.

How am I a hater? I couldn't care less for Calzaghe really. He's nothing special is what I am saying. He has only had like 4 noteworthy fights in his entire career.. how is that impressive?
And I've been saying that he would beat Bernard. I saw this loss coming since his win over Wright, who I might add had to gain 10 pounds and still gave him a close match which many thought he won.
You guys think that it's a yank vs. limey thing and that we are hating on your fighters but it really isn't! Talent shines regardless of where you are from when you are fighting the best. I love Lennox and a lot of the American fans do.. why do you think no one discredits him?
