Give me a break. I scored it 114-113 Hopkins. Do you know what criteria they use to judge a fight?? Clean effective punching, ring generalship, defense etc. Calzaghe was busier, but he threw weaker punches then Williams vs Quintana, his flurries missed for the most part, and the ones that did land were basically slaps. It would've been a draw if not for the Hopkins knockdown on my card. Hopkins clearly is past his prime, even at a measured pace, he can't go 12 hard rounds. He should've retired after the Tarver fight, or Winky fight at best. In his day he would massacre Calzaghe, but clearly his day is long gone, and he's embarassing himself by continuing to compete. Props to Calzaghe, I have no problem with him getting the nod, I do by 116-111 (people don't know how to judge), but him winning by a point or two isn't controversial. Hopkins has no one to blame but himself, I'm one of his biggest fans ever, but CLEARLY, he needs to hang it up, and should've years ago. Hopkins vs Trinidad will be a joke, Hopkins will win, but who cares, HANG IT UP BERNARD IT'S OVER!!!
How Did Calzaghe Win Easily?? Hopkins Needs To Retire

I can't say I was counting the rounds because there was barely anything in it. Calzaghe did seem totake alot of the rounds after the 4th on simply moving forward and being....a little more desperate.
But now I think about it, it did seem very close. Rounds 1-3 B-Hop. The round where he got the low blow and big subsequent break was his too, as he finished pretty strong. And I think the 8th was Bernard's as well. Definitely took a middle round in there somewhere.
So that's 5 rounds he won- plus the knockdown.
Hmm, I guess I had it as a draw. Hahaha, ****, didn't realise it. I'd watch it again to make sure but I'm not sure I could bare to re-watch something so atrocious.
Anyway, yeah....I think it was pretty close.Comment

Even though i scored the fight 114-113 for bernard, (couldve had it 115-112 for B-Hop) but thought that there werre many swing rounds, and even thought joe came out on top, i felt it was a close fight and joe did not decisively beat Hopkins, and i have a feeling nobody ever will.Comment

Yes. First 4 rounds were Bernard's, but I need to watch the fight again.
No Calzaghe doll here dude, I watched the fight with my girlfriend. Try a better insult next time. That one was pretty weak.
You are a seriously bitter man and Hops is a sore loser.Comment
