Will Calzaghe be Ring Champion in two weight divisions?

He's already the champion at super middleweight. But now, he's defeated the light heavyweight champion.

Will he be recognized as Ring Magazine champion at two weight classes at the same time?

I made a similar thread last night, My understanding he has to vacate one of them. If he fights RJJ, I assume the 168 pound belt will be vacated

Technically he doesn't have to. Henry Armstrong held 3 titles at the same and Floyd Mayweather was ranked as the Welterweight champion and #3 at Jr. Middleweight by the ring at the same time.

He won the linear championship at light heavyweight!

It goes back to the days of Gene Tunney, Archie Moore, etc.

He is Ring champion at SMW and LHW, pretty amazing stuff, really.

However! I don't think he can keep the LHW ring belt. He's not big enough to fight at LHW. Hopkins was so much bigger than him, you could see. And Dawson is even bigger. But then you have Pavlik poised at MW-SMW to take him on. Pavlik would be a nightmare matchup for Joe, because of his right hand that is twice that of Hopkins and of course the fact that he can punch with high output for 12 rounds, with both hands, and has an amazing jab. All wrong for Joe.

I think Joe beats Roy in a huge stadium fight in Wales and Joe retires undefeated, undisputed and as the best SMW of all time.

Pavlik a nightmare? I see it the total opposite. He couldn't be more tailor made if he changed his name to Jeff and started flipping burgers in Florida.
