Boxing fans should b embarrassed bout last night

while i understand ur post, I think most of the time people are looking for an excuse to be dissapointed. If you watch a boxing match expecting fireworks every fight, you're watching for the wrong reasons.

A lot of fans though appreciate even the chess matches and tactics, because they know that it is another element to the game and just another part of the drama that is boxing.

that's why they put that **** on HBO not PPV because we were all expecting this kind of fight .since 2001 ppl have to realized the kind of fighter hopkins is.

but boxing has other great fighters who has done good.

pacuiao,marquez,vazquez,cotto,casamayor.

they all have brought a entertaining 08.

and u bring a gr8 point there...however it being on HBO gave a chance for some people who usually dont watch ppv to tune in..and they werent impressed...i knew hop wuz gon fight that way..one punch and hug..he my fav fighter been watchen him do it for years now..but at least he had some power behind most of em...i'm not tryna b against yall..i'm a boxer 100% but our sport is slowly hurten a tad with this MMA craze and to beat it...we need better decisions than that **** last night

lol...yall are all missing my point obviously...the thing is this..right now there is such competition between boxing and MMA...i hate mma...i dont do the ****...but if boxing wants to prosper..and i want it to than this **** has got to stop.....u were impressed by last night?

Everybody knew how the fight would go down, that is hopkins style of fight everybody knew it was going to happen like that, hopkins spoiled the fight, sure it wasnt a great fight and will never be knowing as a classic, but to say your going to start watching UFC because of one bad fight is ******.

You can watch guys rolling around the ground in the ufc in boring fights, you going to jump from one sport to the next everytime you see a boring fight??? why dont you look at all the other great fights weve had this year, and the great fights that are coming up, instead of complaining like a *****.

i loved last night for the most part..most action i've seen from BHop in years..but to an average or less than fan..it wuz a slap fest by the winner...i just dont want those lil MMA ****s to have a chance to talk ****

Good thing that a somewhat big UFC wuz on last night and detered some people from watching last night.....i'm ashamed to b a boxer if all it takes to win a big match is a bunch of pitter patter slapping with absolutley nothing behind em...than i'ma look in2 a new sport..thats just crazy...sure he landed more..**** even hop said that..but come on most of the lands were palm punches while bein slapped...sure Hop held like a ***** also....so in my opinion neither deserved a win....i'm not sure any of the lil ***** slaps Joe threw even knocked hops head back any...lol..what a joke that wuz.....the Judges should b ashamed of themselves..and if this is the direction that decisions are gon go in boxing....count me out

yeah u may a vAlid point there pal...corruption could be seen in boxing and does affect...i forgot about that.
