Joe Calzaghe real controversy

Im gonna be controversial now.

Why dont we just accept that Joe Calzaghe is a great champion and give him the credit he deserves finally.
You can only beat who is put in front of you and he has beaten everbody. Hopkins made this a messy, nasty bitty fight, but Joe STILL came through. Hopkins will retire disgraced by his cowardly playacting, and Cortez should never get another title fight. Calzaghe wasnt impressive and he won ugly but he won yet again!
Well done Joe, after the backbiting from America for years, we will no doubt hear that Hopkins would have done you five years ago, or other such bull****.
One thing that is not open to dispute is that you are undefeated and untouchable.

He'll probably only be recognized after he's retired and all the hate dies down. Even Lennox had this problem, he struggled for respect despite beating everyone, now he is acknowledged as a great champion and is missed.

I thought Cortez did an alright job, he didn't take any points from Calzaghe because he realized the acting job Hopkins pulled. I don't see how you can hate Cortez, sometimes he did seem biased for Hopkins but other times he could have clearly taken points from Calzaghe even though that would be ****ed up since everyone could see the acting job hopkins kept pulling.

Hopkins has to live with the fact that his racist ways, even had americans turn there back on him. No one wanted him to win in that arena, he was boo'd the second he came in. And Calzaghe was honored when he came in by Americans and welsh alike.
