What are your veiws on this? He would not let hatton hold yet he would b-hop. Just because roger mayweather and floyd are moaning ****s does not mean the reff should of took any more notice. If enzo had of moaned do you think joe would of took a point of b-hop?

he let Joe Calzaghe hit in back of the head more times than i can count, because of the scrutiny from the Mayweather-Hatton fight, he wasnt about to take a point from anybody, he was in a lose-lose situation. -
In the 6th round Hopkins pushed his head into Calzaghes face And Cortez said **** all. He's such a **** ref it's untrue.Comment

Every ref makes mistakes after the fact , you think its easy to control guys like this at such high profile , some like Hopkins are experts at playing the game , its funny that the biggest whingers are from the UK when you guys have refs like Parris you have no argument .Comment

Joe Cortez did a mix job, he did a good job at times then a ****ty job. He wasn't letting Hopkins keep saying he was getting low blowed when in instant replay we saw that his cup was grazed and not even hit by a hard punch and the ****ter still wanted a 5 minute break. Then he tried to pull the same stunt later on in the fight and Cortez basically told hopkins to **** off and fight. Hopkins wins the worst actor award and I'm glad Cortez was watching the **** Hopkins was trying to pull at times.
He didn't take any points from anyone and thats why I liked him in this fight. I thought he was going to give hopkins some points for the cheating job he was doing but Cortez didn't take points from Calzaghe.Comment
