I watched the fight again and i calm down a bit, now i see it as a verry close fight with a slight edge to Hopkins but a win for Calzaghe is no bull**** decision, it could have gone either way. Its just a lil bit controversal.

More skillful? Are you kidding? Hopkins made him look like a 10-fight novice in the first half of the fight. Thereafter Calzaghe mostly outworked Bernard, it had nothing to do with skill. In that department Bernard was far superior

What the judges did was alot of "...Well, I couldn't see what happened there, but it looked like _____ was happening because this guy was moving inward, and this guy was stepping to the side or moving back..."

We need instant replay or some other form of judging. I don't like the feeling I get when I'm watching a fight like that in the 7th or 8th round knowing that I could lose my roll, and I'm going to either be offended by the scores, or the other side will be offended. It's a no win. ****ing crap.

Should we have to agonize about judges knowing that they're going to **** it up somehow? Forget about this fight. What about the some of the actual disasters these ****ers have given us? It's goddamn stressful.
I can see what you are trying to say, but Joe landed more with a higher %, so 2 of the judges on this occasion got it right, which is rare for Vegas.

                    another crybaby thread

Joe won by at least five points.

He is the better fighter and has had a much better career. Hopkins is 2-4 against good fighters his own size

Imagine what prime Hopkins would have done to Calzaghe! Thats realy an ordinary Joe!!
Landed almost nothing? He landed almost twice as many punches as Hopkins. I guess that means Bernard landed absolutely nothing, eh?
