I'd rather fight a man before he was too old to fight 8 rounds.

ha i mean if this was the amateurs, no doubt JoKe Calzaghe won, but where im from, if youre more hurt than the guy you fought, you loss. Id take this "LOSS", if im B-HOP because he showed he was the better fighter, maybe not the more active boxer, but he showed who is the better FIGHTER, which i never doubted, lets celebrate the career of the great Bernard Hopkins.

Calzaghe won, Hopkins greatest win is over Trinidad since it brought him the fame. Then the Tarver fight which got him the respect.

I tried to slide to the restroom in the first round, i come back JC is on the ground. I'm like WTF. Joe got his ass kicked, and it "looked like it" The win looks better on paper. Please don't watch the tape. LOL

Exactly, Cal has always had that amateur style, never been able to adopt that pro style of systematically breaking a fighter up, apart from Lacy who just stood there begging to be smacked. Some people would say he hasnt had to adopt that style because he's good enough at what he does but for my money he wouldnt get passed any of the top flight middles-light heavys of the last 30 years, this doesnt make Joe a bad fighter just not a great as some people are suggesting, to me thats outrageous

Calzaghe was never hurt at any point of the fight. Apart from the flash knockdown when he got straight up and smiled, he dominated the fight.
Hopkins just ran and hugged. The Taylor-Hopkins fights were much closer than this.
