Joe Calzaghe vs. Roy Jones Jr. Who wins?

The way Calzaghe tends to come in, he'll get pot shotted to the brink of embarrassment.

He wont come in against Jones though.. Roy Jones doesn't sit on the ropes like Hopkins does.

You saw how that right hand lead caught him? Add more power and speed to that, he won't beat Roy and I will double up come fight time.

I think Calzaghe is more likely to outwork Jones to a decision but Calzaghe is still open to straight and counter right hands and Jones still has very good handspeed and good power, his right hand is still one of the best in boxing, I wouldn't be surprised if Jones won a close decision.

Roy, possibly by KO, or by a very easy to score UD. Even if he wasn't KO'd, he'd find his way to the canvas at least once. RJJ's style basically takes a huge, gigantic **** all over Calzaghe. Roy's biggest weakness in his chin has no bearing on this fight. Calzaghe couldn't knockout Roy with his best shot on his best day.

Roy's hands and reflexes are still fast and anytime Calzaghe would try different angles or stepping in he'd get caught.

If this fight gets signed, I think I may actually bet on a fight for the first time, with actual money.

I have dissed my own PRican and Mexican people for being amazingly biased, but today I realized that no one is more biased than those who support Black American fighters. You got people saying Zab Judah is still good, that Hopkins won, and now this B.S. that Roy would beat Calzaghe.

ROY IS NOT HALF AS GOOD AS HOPKINS IS AND LOOK WHAT CALZAGHE DID TO B-HOP

A poster in this thread said that Roy does not sit on the ropes - look at his fight with ANTHONY HANSHAW, 90% of the time he was doing NOTHING just laying there on the ropes. Calzaghe would EMBARRASS Jones.

What is the criteria for Roy beating Joe? Roy is NOT faster than Joe, IS NOT busier, DOES NOT have better stamina, DOES NOT have a better defense, and looked like **** against Hanshaw (who SUCKS) and nothing spectacular against Tito (who SUCKS EVEN MORE)

                    Say what??

Roy has done more sitting on the ropes in his last 3 fights than Ali done against Foreman.
