    *Discuss Bernard's dirty tactics*

This thread is just about Bernard's dirty tactics. Please discuss the decision elsewhere. If you wish to comment on Joe's dirty tactics...work away.

We all knew they were gonna be there, no surprises.

    Hopkins

    Head: Obvious, no surprises there.

Leaning: He would lean on Joe, right down on him so he had to arch his back completley. He did this many times, waiting for Cortez to come over to him to break it.

Hip-Shots Counted 4 successive hip-shots at one time. The usual hitting on the blind side of referee too.

Possible faking low-blow When Hopkins seemed to feel the pace, he may have opted to take a breather. He took about 2mins + from a lowblow that did not look effective.

The low blows were pathetic, but Calzaghe was rabbit punching like a mother****er. Again.

Why do people care? Harry Greb fought dirty and no one complains about that.

Joe still won and Hopkins is a dirty fighter. I guess it's better then you rubbing it my face and saying some abusrd **** that Joe "pwned" Hopkins.

Hopkins doing alot of crafty stuff, pushing Joes head down, pushing Joe off balance, turning away from punches then claiming Joe was rabbit punching, spinning Joe off then try to punch him from behind.

No matter how much he cheated though, he couldn't stop the white boy.

The overplayed lowblows were embarassing. Props to Cortez for not falling for the bull****.

Its mostly the head, he throws that around when they were in tight but it was actually not that bad for Hop. I would say it was pretty even, hop's head and Calz behind the head.

Does everyone know why when Bernard throws some hard punches he puts his head facing towards the ground?

If you thought this fight was a complaining/***** fest, you should've seen the Diaconu/Henry fight today. Absolutely horrible whining from Diaconu and the ref was bitching and whining at Henry every chance he got. Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there, didn't mean to hijack the thread.

FTR, Bernard has been fighting dirty forever, so what he did tonight shouldn't surprise anyone. Worst of all IMO, was Bernard basically acting like a ***** on that low blow. He was just tired, and needed a break. You might call that crafty, but I think it shows how far gone of a fighter he really is (I am NOT a Cal fan either).

this is wat he does mostly when fighting southpaws when throwing the right he dips hes chin almost invited them to lead to him and then throwing hes counter punch. so then hopkins chin is safe and hes presented with the opening needed to throw hes nicely timed counter punch
