Sr talk about JR.

Floyd mayweather Sr. saying on tv, " Do I want to see my son get knocked out? ......NO...... Do I want to see Jr get an ass whoopin?.........Yeah... I think he needs it". What do you think about SR.'s comments about his son? Do you think it's a conflict of interest having him say that and training DeLaHoya?

I think Sr is bitter that he isnt working with his son who seems to have a good number of years left in him in this sport which means big money. I think it even gets to Sr worse that he lost his son at the hands of his brother Roger, of which if you recall Sr and his career was cut short due to being shot, while Roger got all of the credit while he was fighting.
I really dont think it has anything to do with Father and son, I think its more of Sr vs Roger to be honest with you and I think its been that way for years. However I think there is something in Sr that he beleives he is the better of the three brothers, he had an opportunity to prove that only for DLH to decide and pick up Roach for the first fight instead another lost opportunity to prove his worth as a trainer and get a good pay day.
in fact he temporarly went back to Floyd as Roger was suspended but once Roger was relicensed Floyd elected to go with his uncle. Probably another knife in the back to Sr atleast in his eyes.
I think Sr is hurting inside its almost as if his son is chosing Roger of him, that may not be the case but that is probably what Sr feels. so rather than to deal with it on a realistic level Sr would rather prove his point to both Roger and his son in the Ring.
That I beleive will happen when the rematch takes place, I really feel that Oscar won the first fight, and in this fight I feel that Oscar will make a couple adjustments and catch Floyd this time around.
trilogys always make big money in boxing, and as Floyd says if it makes dollas it makes sense, I wouldnt be surprised to see Jr throw this fight to make dollas, becuase it sure makes sense.
