If Hopkins wouldn't have gassed out and resorted to cheap theatrics to buy time and catch his breath, he might have done just enough to tilt the decision in his favor. Plenty of arguments could be made for Hopkins, because it was close, but for him-or anyone else-to say it was some kind of "schooling" or shut out is complete donkey ****.

It is a disgrace that Americans give that to Calzaghe - the clean sneak shots were from B-Hop, he made Calzaghe fight at his pace

Bernard won rounds 1-3, 7 (or 8), 10, and the 12 was level with 1 a 10-8 and that's just off the top of my head, I think 4-5 as well he sneaked

Calzaghe just didn't landed enough clean shots to justify taking Bernard's title, any way you slice it up

Agreed, Hopkins landed the harder shots. But he had the same problem in the Taylor fights. He lands allot of short punches and he makes you miss by a 1/4 inch. Sometimes it's hard to see how pathetically the other guy (Taylor, Calzaghe) was missing unless you slow the fight down. That's OK, People understand that he's 43 and none of these guys could hold a candle to him if they where the same age!

I've seen Calzaghe fans score it for Hopkins or say it could've went either way, and vice versa.
