    GET IN THERE Joe!!!

Knocked down in the first round and wins by SD. I had him winning by 2 rounds, but what was that last judge on? I was a bit dubious as to how the judge's would score it because it was in Vegas and all of them were Yank's.

Hopkins should retire now, tonight he was very poor. Holding at every opportunity, using his head and elbows and faking low blows is the norm for him and he did it again tonight. Whinging on the mic after the fight, Enzo should go over and stick another one on his chin to knock some sense into him.

Joe Cortez was/is a very poor ref, too scared to make a decision against Hopkins and how he got that fight after the Hatton vs Mayweather one is beyond me.

Although i liked Joe's 'pelvic thrust' on the big Yank

How anyone would think Hopkins won is ridiculous, your seeing what you want to see.

2/3 American judges, scored the fight, against the American fighter, because he lost, get over it. The one whom didn't I think will recieve some criticism, as commentators said the margin was more than the other 2 judges even.

I think people see the early good sign in the FLASH knock down, which wasn't enough on it's own, Calzaghe had to lose balance aswell, otherwise he's have kept going straight away, rather than a few seconds later. This gives false sense of winning later on the fight to some imo.

Calzaghe chased the fight, had a higher land ratio, the most Bernards ever recieved, Bernard bought time, hit him from behind kinda once, lucky he didn't lose a point. Bernard held more and more. Joe became more and more eager, and let his hands go, which resulted in the stats and judges decision, clearly infront of us.

Fair and square, take it like a man.

No way B-Hop won, only reason scores were close is because of the KD.

BS knockdown, Joe still clearly won. Anyone that thinks otherwise is deluded (including Hopkins.)

                115-112 calzaghe

some tough rounds to score but it should be between 116-111 and 114-113 calzaghe. Hopkins go outlanded inc clean punching from round 5 on

We know that American Judges favour the aggressive fighter, but that was excessive. Saying that, Hopkins did not want to fight, he wanted to nick it, box rec says he got tagged more by Joe than any other opponent.

Joe's mistake is in ont analysing unique fighter like Hopkins more closely, it made things a lot more difficult

I scored it 115-112 for Joe Calzaghe. There is no way B-Hop won.

I had Hopkins LOSING by a single Round. He controlled the fight pace all night but didn't throw enough, even though he landed the better shots I thought, just not enough of them.

IT WAS A BORING FIGHT - I EXPECTED THAT. I AM READY FOR JUDAH VS MOSLEY FOR A REALLY EXCITING WAR OF THE LITTLE GUYS!!!!

Again, I am shocked at how wide a margin Judge Chuck Giampa had it - he is better than that. Even the British commentators had it by only 2 Rounds themselves.

Props to Joe C. for surviving - YES - SURVIVING - Hopkins, who should have jumped on him after the knockdown in the 1st Round....
