Joe won the fight. Bernard was aggressive early like i thought he would, and would be outboxed as the rds would go on. Joe won cause bernard would just sit on that one right hand followed by his noggin. **** reminded me of that video game BONK, anyone remember that ****.

I never would have thought that Bernard , a throwback fighter made from the same cloth like ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Barney Ross, would resort to ***** moves to steady the tide. That was not a 3 minute low blow, bernard you lost some props from a guy who has followed the game since teh age of 6.

I was rooting for Bernard and thought after that first round he was going to win his type of fight, but really in the second half of the fight he didn't do enough. Did he land the more significant punches, yes I thought he did, but it just wasn't enough. Calzaghe was landing his slaps and the occasional straight left and Bernard was just throwing that straight right and then holding. Calzaghe was just the busier fighter. I usually prefer the cleaner and most effective punches, but Bernard just didn't do enough. So in the end I felt the decision was the right one.

I really don't know what fight you dudes were watching but, all B-Hop did was ****in hold all night. If he would've stood toe-2-toe Joe would've beat him hands down. He was the fastest one out of 'em. Joe was worthy of the win......... NYC

                wow thats horrible ****ing horrible
Not to be critical, because I have only read several of your posts but I get a general perception that you have no idea what the hell you are talking about.

Joe won that fight fair and square, Hopkins showed how much of a ***** he was when he overacted a punch on his belt line. The results should have been unanimous in Joes favor.

                  Joe Calzaghe undefeated how long?

Tonight's fight (Bernard Hopkins vs, Joe Calzaghe) showed only one thing to me, that Joe Calzaghe will be knocked out when he faces a opponent like Antonio Tarver or Glen Johnson. Why? Simply because fighters like Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver, are natural light heavy weights and natural punchers with power! Joe Calzaghe is a slow starter that can not find his range until the middle rounds, and if Antonio Tarver lands a big punch in the early rounds (which is not hard to do with fighter like Joe Calzaghe), he will not be allowed to recover or might not even recover from the initial punch. Joe Calzaghe's chin is revealing to be suspect! A few of Bernard Hopkins's clean punches on the chin hurt Joe Calzaghe, not a good look for Joe Calzaghe, being that Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver hits much harder. The light heavy weight division might not be the right division for Joe Calzaghe. Joe Calzaghe's win over Bernard Hopkins proves nothing, he did not impressively win, but he should of got a unanimous decision. The split decision was straight bogus! Bernard Hopkins did not follow up when he hurt Joe Calzaghe, and when a fighter fights peddling backwards he better get the best of the exchange of punches in every round, which Bernard Hopkins did not do. Joe Calzaghe won this fight because he out worked Bernard Hopkins and was thee aggressor in the fight, but frankly both fighters performance's looked quite amateur.
