He landed the right jab plenty, and adjusted well I thought. The ugly ass flurries (which turn people off imo even when the land) werent the only reason he won. He landed plenty of straight lefts too.
Plenty? First guy out of everyone to have the balls to talk about Calzaghe on offense, and for Bernard it was "one out of 20" and for Calzaghe it was "plenty." You are a character, dude.. Wow, that's all I can say..

    • This is boxing guys, when a fighter lands 200 more punches in a fight no matter how pretty they are that fighter deserves to win and win pretty big.

Like the two judges who scored the fight with there eyes open had it.

so you would honestly rather have been Joe tonight than Bernard, if were talking about damage done???

I think i actualy gave Nard the 10th, as you pointed out though i need to watch again.

My first impression, which is usualy very good was a clear cut ugly win for Calzaghe.
Calzaghe was busy, he was active, he was coming forward, but the doubts surround his actual scoring. Actually landing. Apparently Bernard himself is saying it's bull**** too. No coincidence, I can assure you. No rose colored lenses here. I promise you that.

No, TG, this is professional Boxing. Not the amateurs.

200 of nothing in particular means just that - nothing.

Plenty as in...way more than you all are giving him credit for. And I dont back away from that statement at all.

On a side not, I am enjoying your bitching tonight.

                • I laugh when people say he landed 200 punches!

                  hahahaha

I laugh. Im about to rewatch the fight and count how many punches landed clean, compared to bernards.

Fights should just throw and miss more to win fights, cause mainly all these close fights are given to the more active, yet lack of accuracy fighters.

weather he was milking it(2nd lowblow), or not...so? zakghe got tha same rest. and?

zakghe landed bout 6 good shots, tops. rest was inflation for his again quote unquote punch count...inflating, much in tha same way his record is inflated.

The funny thing is Bernard Hopkins said virtually exactly what Killa Cam said.

                    • this may sound crazy, insane, nutty, and in your face but i think compubox is WRONG! compubox consists of an operator pushing a button everytime he thinks a punch lands but where was calz landing? arms, gloves, shoulders, behind the head, grazing shots mostly. also i think the compubox operator was enzo calzaghe hehe
