O'Neill's body punching was completely wearing Adamek down, and I was worried about it as someone betting on the kid from Poland.
yes, thats what i was looking for.
adamek heard the wizzing by of a number of bell power punches that missed by inches. which made him fight tentatively and play it smart fighting at a distance.

Bell was a much better fighter back then. He is a troubled person and has been very inactive. He should be judged in the time frame that Mormeck fought him in. Today he would have been easy pickings for a lot of cruiserweights.

Maybe, but Mormeck beat him only a year ago, hard to imagine he's changed much since then. I guess when you don't fight for the whole year and don't take an easy fight at least coming off a loss, you're asking for trouble.

Casamayor looked pretty ****ty a year after beating Corrales when he fought Santa Cruz. He looked like he had gotten rid of the ring rust when he fought Katsidis though.

What a ridiculous conclusion to draw.

Say that someone were to beat Wlad, then Haye beats that person, then Wlad quits in a fight...does that still mean Haye deserves no respect. This is one of the worst cases of triangular logic I've seen. Haye beat the man who beat Bell, he didnt fight Bell, so in what way would Bell be an indication of his quality? If Bell had beat Mormeck...then maybe you'd have a point.
