Hopkins vs Calzaghe will end up like Ray Leonard vs Terry Norris.

This is my prediction. Back in 1991 when Ray Leonard fought Terry Norris, Ray no longer had the speed to compete with a young and quick fighter like Terry Norris. He got beat to the punch all night long and even though he kept trying, Norris was just to fast and it ended up becoming a 12 round beating.

This is what i see Calzaghe doing to Hopkins. Beating him to the punch all night long with ease and slowly putting the beat down on Hopkins over 12 rounds. The thing that may help Hopkins not get as beaten down as Ray Leonard did, is he will grab and hold and not let Calzaghe get the proper seperation and distance on his punches when B-Hop realizes he's getting a whippin.

Great Point using Ali vs Spinks.

Hopkins might find a way to hold more then Ray Leonard did and not get beat down as bad over a long stretch. Ray was actually trying to fight Norris without holding like Hopkins will end up doing if he sees Calzaghe dominating the fight.

Ha Ha, Ray was only 34, much younger than Joe and B Hop. His problem was he came down from super middle too light middle too quickly. His loss to Norris may not have been so bad at a higher weight.............case of Roy Jones Antonio Tarver syndrome after Roy came down from heavy!

Great example. Joe is a devastating puncher and Hopkins has no ring intelligence.
